Sarah Ann Walters Young, 73, of De Graff, died at 6:30 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Heartland of Bellefontaine.
She was born August 4, 1938 in Alger, a daughter of the late Harvey Nelson and Myrtle Mae Legge Goings.
On July 30, 1954 she married Myron Eugene Walters in De Graff and he died June 8, 1995. She then married Jack Young on November 22, 2008, in Bellefontaine and he died March 22, 2010. She was also preceded in death by a son Harvey Eugene Walters, brothers; Robert, Charles, Ronald, Mart, and Ardel Goings, and two sisters; Kathryn Cupps and Bessie Watkins.
She is survived by three daughters; Sarah Stafford of De Graff, Tammy A. Richardson of Bellefontaine and Pamela Burnside of Zanesville, a son Mart Eugene Walters of Tipton, Ind. three brothers; Junior Goings of Bellefontaine, Floyd Goings of De Graff and Tom Goings of Sidney, seven grandchildren and sixteen great grand children.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Bellefontaine.
The family will receive friends at the Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, De Graff on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral Services will then be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 3, 2012 at the funeral home, with Pastor Bobbi Allen officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff.
