Dora  Belle WeatherbyDora Belle Weatherby, 93, of Bellefontaine, died at 10:45 AM Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Green Hills Center, West Liberty.

She was born August 14, 1918, in Logan Co., a daughter of the late Floyd N. and Mollie E. Stayrook Harshbarger.

On October 26, 1940, she married Roger Carlton Weatherby in Lewistown and he died February 27, 1976. She was also preceded in death by a Brother; Robert and a Sister; Lina Pearl Detwiler.

Survivors include three Daughters; Patricia Brewer and Sharon Weatherby both of Bellefontaine, and Pamela Straker of New Albany, a Brother; Richard "Dick" (Martha) Harshbarger of Bellefontaine, four Grand Children; Brad (Karen) Brewer, Megan Brewer, Matt (Mindy) Brewer and Nicole Faccinto and two Great Grand Children; Olivia and Luke Brewer.

A Homemaker, she was a member of Bellefontaine Church of the Brethren, Bellefontaine Senior Citizens and she loved to travel.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 16, 2012 Rexer-Riggin-Madden Funeral Home, DeGraff, with Pastor Fred Clogg officiating. Burial is in the Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 4 to 6 P.M.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to Bellefontaine Church of the Brethren.

Sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. Your Mom was a very sweet lady. She made my Mom ceramic Christmas decorations every Christmas when my mother was alive. She also came to visit her I think Mom bought avon from her just to have company! She also worked at HBD with my first Husban. May God Bless Your Family. Maxine Goings daughter Virginia Scott
