It's so very difficult to say goodbye to someone we love, whether they are a family member or very close friend. Our friendship began in early childhood living close to each other on Koke Street. I cherish fond memories of us playing cowboys & indians, climbing maple trees, and splitting mayonnaise sandwiches for a mid-afternoon snack. We loved to ride our bikes and often went to the library. One day, we checked out the Amateur Radio Operator's Handbook and made a childhood pact to become amateur radio operators some day and we followed through on that promise. These are the things that I cherish about our longtime friendship that has spanned more than six decades. 73's & 88's Mike. Godspeed my dear friend.
