1938 - 2014
Norman Blaine Adkins, 75, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Marys Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1938 in Wayne County, WV, a son of the late Earl and Revada Lusher Adkins. He retired from Owens Illinois Glass Manufacturing after 37 years. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jerel Adkins. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Charlotte Sue Wentz Adkins; one son, Daryl Adkins and his wife Carol of Huntington; two stepchildren, Kevin Mullins and his wife Azareen of Charleston, WV, and Cathy Mullins of Milton; one brother, Richard Adkins and his wife Polly of Huntington; and one sister, Janis Eplin and her husband Lawrence of Ona, WV. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Dr. Jerry Warren. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, Inc., P.O.
