Just wanted to send my condolences to Mr. & Mrs. Nelson, Carla, Jimmy, Chad, & the rest of the family. I grew up with Blaine in Guyan Estates. I remember many mornings going to the pool for swim practice. Blaine was always a fierce competitor as well as a great athlete. I'm sorry for your loss. Blaine will truly be missed.

My sincere condolences to Blaine's family.
We grew up together in Guyan Estates. Friends through school, 1st grade on. I have many memories of Blaine, in school and out. Blaine would many times be in the running for the top, academically and sports. He would always show great sportmanship, humility, intelligence and, a friendly spirit that was willing to share. All around great guy. saddens my heart to here. God Bless

Dear Nelsons,
So sorry to hear of your loss! I was Berkley's age but I remember the rest of the family from living close together in Guyan Estates. I was also in Scouts with Blaine.
May comfort be yours in abundance.

Remember being in Rosie Nichols' Sunday School class at 5th Avenue Church of God - later Trinity Church of God. We used to put butter cookies on our fingers and eat them under the table. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
