Mary Jo Jeffers Dillon, 70, of Winfield, WV, formerly of Milton, passed away May 9, 2016. She was born May 12, 1945, in Mason County, WV, a daughter of the late Mart and Hazel Stewart Jeffers. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Dillon; brother Billy Jeffers; and sister-in-law Shirley Jeffers. She is survived by one daughter Cathy (David) Shamblin; one son Scott (Jackie) Byars; one brother Emitt Jeffers and Alfreda Morrison who was like a sister; four grandchildren Jonathan Shamblin, Sarah Shamblin, Lily Byars, and Jack Byars; one great granddaughter Maddalynn Shamblin; niece Christina Lawhon-Jeffers; nephew Billy L. Jeffers; and special friends Ronnie and Sonja Cremeans. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at White Chapel Good Shepherd Mausoleum by Pastor Jamie Jefferson. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Putnam County 4 H Fishing Program, 12093 Winfield Road, Winfield, WV, 25213. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
