Donald Elbert Ballengee, 69, of Huntington, WV, passed away April 1, 2017, at home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Roger Mooney. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Born May 21, 1947, the son of the late Marvin M. And Reba D. Berry Ballengee. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Robert Walls. He was a retired electrician from the C & O Railroad. He also served as a Huntington Reserve Police Officer for 20 plus years. This is a duty he truly loved to do. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Krystal; two sons, Troy (Becky), and Scott (Angie); eight grandchildren, Megan, Kristina, Joseph, Emily, Brandon, Kelsea, Zach & Jalyn; five great grandchildren; his sister, Sandra Walls; one niece, two nephews, two great nephews and one great niece; and friends too numerous to count. In lieu of flowers, the family ask you make donations to the Children’s Christmas Party C/O FOP Gold Star Lodge 65 in his memory.
