Eula Green

FRANKLIN FURNACE-On Saturday, February 10th, Eula Faye (Leadingham) Green, took her Heavenly Flight. Eula was surrounded by her loving husband, four daughters, and a granddaughter.

Eula was born on June 11th, 1941 in Argillite, Kentucky. She was a long-time resident of Franklin Furnace, OH and a 1959 graduate of Green High School. Eula was a member of Pine Creek Freewill Baptist Church where she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Edward Green.

For 65 years, she was a devoted pastor’s wife, loving mother, and Nan not only to her own grandchildren but many others. Eula was a savvy businesswoman. She owned and operated a beauty salon and tanning salon. Later, she owned Wedding Bliss Catering Service. She loved catering with her devoted husband and family by her side.

Eula was also a world traveler. During her life, she visited many countries outside the United States. Her favorite vacations were family cruises, and in her later years, family camping trips. When she wasn’t traveling, she loved playing cards, working puzzles, and watching UK basketball games.

Eula is preceded in death by parents, William and Jeston Leadingham; five brothers, Amos, Charles, Gene, Raymond, and Bob Leadingham; six sisters Gladys Tipton, Bonnies Stathes, Pauline Leadingham, Shirley Robinson, Janice Wheeler, and Ina Salyers.

Surviving include husband Charles Green, daughters Dana Wright (Greg), Jamie Adkins (Jack), Cynthia Maddox (Doug), Amanda Ratliff, honorary daughter, Diane Bradley. Eula also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also survived by three sisters: Betty Wheeler, Laura Riepenhoff, and Pat (Mike) Johnson.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 15th, from 5-8:00 p.m. at Harrison Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, OH. Funeral Services will be Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Harrison Pyles Funeral Home. There is a one-hour pre-service visitation. Eula will be laid to rest at the Leadingham Family Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be made at www.harrison-pyles.com.

Dear Charles, Jamie, Mandy, Cindy and Dana. My condolences on your loss. You all know that Eula meant a great deal to me throughout my life. She was a kind, loving, wonderful person who I will truly miss. All of you are in my thoughts.

Love & prayers to all the family….I’ll always remember the sweet services through the years & many gatherings shared when Eula & family were catering. She would always take time to chat a while and had such a friendly smile & testimony of The Goodness of God. As a pastors wife & mother & grandmother, she will be cherished with many fun & blessed memories🙏❤️
