Johnnie Mac Sparks, 54, of Chesapeake, OH passed away Tuesday July 22, 2003 in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Johnnie was born May 18, 1949, in Mingo County, West Virginia, to the late Robert Sparks and Bernice Sparks Fuller. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2003, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio, by Rev. John Litteral and Rev. Gallie Watts. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington, West Virginia. In addition to his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by one son, Terry Sparks. Johnnie is survived by his wife Lois Blankenship Sparks; five sons, Robert Sparks and Johnnie Sparks Jr., both of Proctorville, OH, Tommy Sparks and Glenn Sparks, both of Chesapeake, OH, and Carl Sparks of Scottown, OH; one daughter, Mary Sparks of Chesapeake, OH; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Stier of Huntington, WV. and Patsy Cartwright of Mobile, AL; one brother, Richard Fuller of Tampa, FL. Friends may call from 6 to 9 P.M. Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Hall Funeral Home, 625 State Route 775. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall
