SHARON LYNN WALTERS, 59, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2005, at home. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home by Rev. Charles Love. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. She was born February 11, 1946, in Louisa, Ky., to the late Damer and Edna Woods McCormick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Greg McCormick, granddaughter Hailey Walters; brother-in-law Mark Marsh, and sister-in-law Sheila McCormick. Sharon is survived by her husband, George Walters; one daughter Kim Heinl and her husband Jeff of Chesapeake, Ohio; three sons, Stoney Walters, George G. Walters and his wife Tabitha, and Chuck Walters, all of Proctorville; seven sisters, Charlotte Marsh of Proctorville, Carol Meyers of Huntington, Alice Spaulding of Proctorville, Joyce Clark of Proctorville, Brenda Ferguson of Pittsburgh, Kathy Browning, and Rita Murphy both of Proctorville; seven brothers, Damer "Bud" McCormick of Huntington, Gary McCormick of Indiana, Robert McCormick of Athalia, Larry McCormick of Huntington, Rick McCormick of Proctorville, Tim McCormick of Chesapeake, and Chuck McCormick of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Jeff Jr., Jacob, Hope, Samantha, Gregory, Jessica and Hunter; three special friends, Kay Watson, Beth Poling and Vernon Chinn.
