LARRY D. NANCE, 63, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2005, at his residence with his family and close friends at his side. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Cleo Watson. Burial will follow in Linville Cemetery in Willow Wood, Ohio. He was born November 8, 1941, in Willow Wood, Ohio, son of the late Forest and Callie Dillon Nance. Larry retired from ACF Industries with 37 years of service, where he served on the United Way of the River Cities committee. He was a member of Proctorville Masonic Lodge #550 F&AM and Proctorville Teresa Chapter #257 OES, where he was Past Worthy Patron. Larry was a self-taught carpenter, fine craftsman with many talents and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Nance; one son, Larry "Bub" and Karen Nance of Snellville, Ga.; two daughters, Deborah and Larry Galloway of Demorest, Ga., and Michelle and Dwight Galloway of Braselton, Ga.; three grandchildren, Joshua Nance, Nathan and Lane Galloway; two brothers, Bernard and Juanita Nance of Coal Grove, Ohio, and LeRoy and Sandy Nance of Huntington; three special nieces, Brittany and Cassie Jeffers and Suzanna Burchett; special nephew, Gary Nance, among many other nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Masonic service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross for the relief fund of victims of Hurricane Katrina. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall

Bubby, I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. You were a good friend to me when my mother passed away back when we were in high school and I've never forgotten that. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days to come / Your old band buddy Duane

I am very sorry about your Dad.
He was a wonderful man. He could always make you smile. I will always remember that and his friendship. Oh! we cant forget his wild and wacky mustaches over the years. :-)
