 Ray Lee Wiley, 73, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 21, 2006 at home. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday June 24, 2006 at Hall Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery Kenova, WV. He was born January 29, 1933 in Logan County, WV to the late Linsey and Laura Wiley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Avonell Tackett Wiley; one sister Betty Ward Wiley; and two brothers Russell and Bill Wiley. He was a Korean Army Veteran, a lifetime member of DAV, and was of Baptist faith. Ray is survived by six sons Danny and Pam Wiley of Proctorville, Andrew and Kim Wiley of Cattletsburg, KY, Willard Wiley of Proctorville, Paul Wiley of Huntington, WV, Timmy and Teresa Wiley of Wayne, WV, and Michael and Sherry Wiley of Lincoln County, WV; two brothers and sisters-in-law Paul and Sharon Wile and Richard and Gloria Jean Wiley all of Toledo, Ohio; one sister Bernice Lovejoy of Prichard, WV; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. I'm really sorry to hear this about papa........as you know i thought of him also as a father and he always treated me as a daughter .My many condolences to the family ..sorry i couldnt be there .PAPA you will be missed very much but i know hes happy to be with Avonell again .
