1925 - 2009
Helen Riley Paden Goff, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Tuesday February 24, 2009 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born April 10, 1925 in Huntington, WV, daughter of the late Walter G. and Goldie Ellis Riley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Nelson Paden and Dana Martin Goff; four brothers, James R., Orville, Stanley, and Lloyd Riley; and one sister, Mabel Hodges. Helen was a member of Rome Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Pete Goff; one daughter Brenda (Allen) Meador of Huntington; seven grandchildren, Cheryl Meador, Allen Meader II, Lisa (Richard) Maack, Jason (Sylvia) Stutler, Summer Dawn (David) Bailey, Michelle Paden, and Josh Paden; seven great grandchildren, Patrick Maack, Adam Jefferson, Maria Maack, Madison Maack, Jordan and Annamika Stutler and Kylie Bailey; one sister, Clara Breesawitz of Rome, GA; a special niece Diane Clemons; and several other nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Friday February 27, 2009 at Woodmere Memorial Park Abbey of Remembrance Mausoleum Huntington, WV by Pastor Keith Watters. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the Mausoleum. Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
