 Roberta Jane Bova, 77, of Proctorville, Ohio, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday April 5, 2009 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 8, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Black. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday April 7, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Roberta was born September 11, 1931, in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Harry and Cora Wells. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry Joe, Jimmy and Ronnie; three sisters Margaret, Georgia Lee and Martha Lou. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Proctorville, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Frank Bova; one son and daughter-in-law, Joey and Sandie Bova; one daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Larry Black; five grandchildren, Cindi and Scott Caserta, Jane Ann and Lee Haikal, Misty Tully, Wendy Bonstein, and Megan Bova; five great grandchildren, Elias, Nathan, Ben, Noah, and Samuel Haikal, and a special lifelong friend, Anita Bailey. Everyone who knew Roberta felt her love and sweet spirit of generosity. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice of Huntington.
