 In the presence of God, Edna Mae Clagg, 76, of Proctorville, Ohio was granted her angel wings on February 29, 2012 after a long illness. She was surrounded by the endless love and care of her family in the comfort of her home. It was the love for her family that carried her through her long illness. She was loved by all that met her and she will be remembered for her kindness and compassion to others. She was born in Huntington W.Va. on September 14, 1935 to late Goldie & John Suiter. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Acie Clagg; her parents Goldie & John Suiter; daughter Lynne Ann Ferguson; three sisters, Helen Orme, Freida Brumfield, Patty Blankenship; her five brothers Harry, Calvin, Billy, Freddie & Deak Suiter. She is survived by her daughter and pride & joy, Stephanie Fisher and her beloved husband Tim, Connie Morgan and husband Ken who she adored; her favorite brother Johnny Suiter; her special sister Nancy Simpkins, Dorothy Peak, and Ruth McWilliams; nephews Jimbo Crabtree, Michael, Donnie & Bruce Baer; her grandchildren include Stacie Fisher Kennard and husband Jared; Brooke Fisher Keeney and husband Matt, Megan Fisher, Chad Fisher and Chase Fisher, Kristin Burton and husband Ivan, Tara Jane Jones and husband Ricky and
Lance Workman and wife Allison; great grandchildren include Derek Jimison, Allison Spears, Kiera Mae Kennard, Addison Brooke Kennard, Tevan Tyner, Talyah Jones, Terick Jones, Haleigh Workman, Bridgette Workman, Abigail Workman, Christopher Workman, Saylor Workman and Jack Workman. She has so many friends and caregivers that we want to thank for all of their kindness through all the years for her medical care, especially the nurses at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Specials and Hospice of Huntington. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday March 2, 2012 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jeff Black. Family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Stephanie, I am very sorry about the death of your mother. I know it is very hard to lose a loved one. I know it has been a very long time since we have seen or talked to each other or your mother but we do think of you and other members of the family often.
