Steven Wilson Matney Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1963 - 2013 Steven Wilson Matney, 50, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. He was born November 11, 1963 in Welch, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Sherman and Phyllis Porter. He is survived by his wife Joyce Matney; three sisters Debbie Meade of Proctorville, Ohio, Sherry Cox of Genoa, WV and Betty Dillon of Crown City, Ohio; one niece Tonya French; four nephews Jamey Heflin, Jimmy Cox, Michael Cox and Chris Dillon; a special dog Ashley; and a special young man Kameron Krantz. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Johnny Harris. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Wayne, WV. Visitation will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Unverferth House, 190 King Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

We will miss Steve so very much.I know I sure do. We talked daily and I love him so much. My prayers and thoughts are to all our family!! I am trying to keep in mind, that Steve isnt suffering now and he will be home, with phylis, sherman, gale and tyler and so many that gas gone to heaven from our family.Will love you always.
