Michael “Mickey” Dennison, 83, of Chesapeake, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 9, 2020 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born July 1, 1937 in Scottown, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ogle and Laura Lafon Dennison; one daughter, LeAnn; eight brothers; and four sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edna Day Dennison; three children, son, Michael J. (Sandra) Dennison of Smyrna, TN, two daughters, Karen Sue (Todd) Cremeans of Manington, WV and Sandra (Michael) Wellman of Chesapeake, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (June) Dennison of Chesapeake, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Franklin and Marty Day of Chesapeake, Ohio; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was a member of Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church and retired from ACF Industries after 35 years of service. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Mark Roach and Rev. Bob Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Freeman Cemetery, Scottown, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
