Mona Sue Thacker Hart, 69, of South Point, Ohio passed away December 15, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mona was born July 9, 1951 and was a graduate of Chesapeake High School and acquired her Florida real estate license. She retired from the Florida Department of Transportation. She was of the Christian faith and attended Bethel United Methodist Church and Defender United Methodist Church. She was also active in Hometown Love and project TLC of Chesapeake Ohio. Mona is survived by one son, Keith Hart, sisters Janice (Paul) Hayes, Betty (Fred) Ludens, brothers Donald (Patty) Thacker, Larry Thacker, Charles Thacker, David Thacker,and sister-in-law Rhonda Thacker. She is also survived by nieces Shawna Dillow, Tammie Hayes, Debbie Ludens and nephews Tim Hayes, Chris Woodard, Mike Ludens, Jonathan Thacker and Sean (Michelle) Thacker and great nieces Amber , Jada, Hailee, Chantal, Savana, and Lexie. Mona was preceded in death by her parents Berkley and Gertrude Nichols Thacker, her sister Janet Bright, brothers Ralph and Paul Thacker, sisters-in-law Hedy Thacker and Jean Thacker, and nephew Glenn Thacker. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday December 18, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Reverend Bill Flannery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
