Frieda Joyce Adkins Thompson, 81, of Chesapeake, Ohio on Thursday, December 24, 2020 is now strolling Heaven with Jesus and her beloved husband of 54 years. Rev. Rudolph Thompson. Frieda served the Lord since the age of seven. She served as a Deacon’s wife then Pastor’s wife in several churches along side her husband. She was preceded in death by her dad Russell Adkins and her mom Sarah Adkins Issacs. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Chuck) McCormick of Chesapeake, Ohio, Drema Gayle Christian of Chesapeake, Ohio and Joyce (Rich) Robinson of Hurricane, WV; six grandchildren Deborah (Dan) Huron, Mark (Whitney) McCormick, Erick Christian (Kristyn), Michelle Jackson (Matt), Dustin Robinson and Bradley (Chelsea) Christian; nine great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister; and a host of “grandchildren” from church. Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. Burial will follow the service at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH.
