
Paul “PC” Carlton Adkins, 89, of LeSage, WV, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born on May 20, 1931 in Huntington, WV. He was the son of the late Victor R. Adkins and Emma Lou Berry Adkins. He was preceded in death by brothers Grable Adkins and Lowel (Bud) Adkins; sisters Mary Elliott and Rema Ramano; daughter Pamela Adkins; grandson Galen Adkins; and special family member Joyce Lee Lewis. He is survived by his devoted wife Carolyn Mccomas Adkins; sons Victor Adkins of Huntington, Rodney Adkins of Barboursville, Jeff Mccomas, Thomas Mccomas, and Chad (Jennifer) Mccomas of Lesage; daughter Kathy (Kevin) Mccomas of Lesage; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; host of nieces and nephews he dearly loved dearly; and special life-long friends Ray Cooper of Huntington, Tom Penvose of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Curt Anderson of Gainesville, Fl. Paul retired from CSX after 46 years of service. He was active in the Lesage community volunteering for buddy basketball. He and his wife Carolyn provided babysitting in the community for over 30 years. He prided himself with teaching the kids how to ride a bike. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date when we can all embrace with heart felt hugs. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, is assisting the family with arrangements.
