Lois Jean Stone, 85, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born December 20, 1935 in Huntington, WV daughter of the late Harry and Marie Spears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stone on October 4, 2016; and her siblings, Donald Spears, Harold Spears, Bobby Spears, Helen Moore, Mag Lester, Katie Spears and Ebbie Staley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Kay and Lewis Edgar Layne; granddaughter and her husband Sarah Ann and Derek Ross Moreland; and two great grandchildren Annalee Grace Moreland and Emery Wayne Moreland. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Apostolic Life Cathedral, Huntington, WV with Bishop E.S. Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Memory Gardens, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
