Hancel Edgar Truesdell, 80, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Sunday February 14, 2021 at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, KY. He was born April 28, 1940 in Guyandotte, WV to the late Walter and Helen King Truesdell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Elva Martyn. He was retired from Martin Transport. He is survived by one son Rocky Truesdell of Ironton, Ohio; two daughters Janelle Massie of Ashland, KY and Cindy Fuller (Willie) of Ashland, KY; seven grandchildren, Eric Ferguson, Brandon Smith (Melissa), Sarah Klein (Brian), Tracy Deborde (David), Darla Caldwell (David), Ashley Truesdell and McKayla Truesdell; ten great grandchildren, Hannah, Alivia, Cody, Karly, Lucas, Riley, Hope, Aiden, Kayelynn and Kenzie; one sister Sue Napier of South Point, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday February 20, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Perkins Ridge Cemetery, Scottown, Ohio.
