
Charles “Chuck” Melvin Lawhon, Sr., 56, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Ky. He was born December 31, 1964 in Temple, Texas to Nancy Ann Lawhon and the late Donal Perion Lawhon. He worked for the Greater Huntington Park and Recreation Maintenance Crew. He worked for IATSE 369 for many years. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, C.J. Lawhon; several brothers; and one sister. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Gregory Taylor of Waterloo, Ohio; a granddaughter Nevaeh; his sister and brother-in-law Kristen and Bruce Rose of Milton, WV; and several other children, several nieces and nephews, and a great deal of special friends. He was also known by many nicknames, Puddin, Turkey and Chuckles. He had many hobbies Star Trek collector, many gaming favorites Dungeons and Dragons, World of War Craft and loved dragons in general. A memorial gathering will be held 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
