George Lee Handy, 70, of Crown City, OH, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington, WV. He was born on October 9, 1950 in West Hamlin, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Ruby Midkiff Handy and mother-in-law Barbara Collins. He was a valued employee for Steel of WV for 50 years. He is survived by his wife Delcina Rae Handy; four children Samantha (Mark) Pullen, Jerry (Yolanda) Handy; Michael “Boo” (Joyce) Handy, and Carrie (Rich) Broughton; thirteen grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one sister Janice Ridenour; and two fur babies “Harley Doodle” and “Bella Bella.” A Gathering of Family and Friends will begin at 1 P.M. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH. with a Memorial Service following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Billy Markins officiating. Burial will follow with his last ride to Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. 1 to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
