
William Joseph Williams, 61, of South Point, OH, originally from Dayton, OH, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Kings Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, KY. He was born on June 12, 1960 in Dayton, OH, to the late Calvin and Ella- May (Larson) Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Calvin Williams Jr. (Jupe), John Williams, Daniel Williams, Lucy Williams-Simpkins, and Roger Williams. Bill was a long time member at Crook Chapel Church. He pursued his passion as a RN for 30+ years. He is survived by his precious loving wife of 39 years Alice Williams; two daughters Tina and Ginny of South Point, OH; three sons Guy of Gallipolis, OH, Joe of South Point, OH, and Joshua (Samantha) of Huntington, WV; two grandbabies Sophia (Little Dumpling) and Jackson (Little Buddy); and a granddaughter on the way. He was also blessed with a bonus daughter Jayla and with several bonus grandbabies Justin, Grace, Connor, Braydon, Justice, Kaydence, Carson, Lucas, and Kallee. He has two surviving sisters Faye Williams-Smith and Cindy (Jeff) Williams-Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. Bill left a legacy behind of the love he had in his faith and for his children, grandbabies, family, and friends. Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Jerry Shaw officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
