Calvin Lee Tackett, 83, of Chesapeake, OH, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Cornerstone Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on December 31, 1937, in Huntington, WV, to the late George and Mary Vititoe Tackett. He was also preceded in death by his wife Naomi Tackett; four brothers Carl, George, Lester, and Herbert Tackett; and two sisters Easter Burns and Edna Mae Smith. He was a member of New Beginning Worship Center. He is survived by three daughters Anita Barry (Chuck), Brenda Ferguson (Bruce), and Carolyn Harless (Paul) all of Chesapeake, OH; two sons Darryl Tackett (Penny) of Mason County, WV, and Calvin Tackett Jr. (Kathy) of Chesapeake, OH; one sister Mary Christian of Proctorville, OH; ten grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, Friday, August 6, 2021, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow the service at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, OH. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
