I worked with Danny one summer in the late 70's. He was a gentle man who was a very hard worker in the ministry he served. I have not talked with him in many years but I know his family and friends will miss him.

I was one of Danny's professors at Appalachian Bible College and just learned of his Homegoing today (15 July 2008). My wife Donna and I were very close to Danny and his wife in the early days of their marriage and we learned to love and respect Danny greatly for his quiet determination to honor his marriage vows and his LORD and to stay faithful to Him and his wife. We will miss Danny, for his great good humor and love of the LORD Jesus would light up any place he was or any conversation in which he took part. May his family be encouraged that he is still alive and very well! See you at Home, my friend!

Bro. Danny is a very special friend in the Lord -- we look forward to seeing him again! 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18 -- "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words."

We were shocked at the news of Danny's home going. We have many happy memories going back 25 years! Our brother knows now what great rewards await those faithful to Jesus!!!!

Our hearts are broken for everyones loss even though it is purely selfish. We know how much Danny loved the Lord and know that he is rejoicing with Him right now. Carley says Danny probably is looking for heaven's version of Evaroni's too! Our family dearly loved him and he will be missed alot. We continue to pray for your family through this difficult time. Love and prayers, The Wine Family
