Byron "Bob" Thorne Cheuvront, 86, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday September 17, 2008 at home. He was born December 4, 1921 in Cabell County, WV, son of the late Charles V. and Blanche E. Shockey Cheuvront. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. Cheuvront; three children, Byron Cheuvront Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Sandie and Joey Bova of Proctorville, Ohio, and Barbara and Danny Deen of Pensacola, FL; a special niece and nephew, Mary Elizabeth Mullarky of Garden Grove, CA and Joseph Cheuvront of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Misty Tully, Wendy Borstein, Nathan Deen, and Megan Bova; and special friends, The Parnicza family. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 20, 2008 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor John Carter. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington PO Box 464 Huntington, WV 25709. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

I was so sorry to read of Mr. Cheuvront's death. He was a favorite patient of mine after his open heart surgery at St. Mary's. He was such a kind man, eager to get well and go home to his loved ones. Your family will be in my thoughts.

So sorry to hear about Bob's passing. I came to know Bob & Mary when I was a past tennant of theirs. They both were such kind, kind people. Mary, my thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family. Bob may be gone from here on Earth, but he will forever live on in your heart & memories. God Bless you.
