Patricia Hackworth, 75, of Huntington, WV passed away Thursday May 28,2009 at home. She was born September 8, 1933 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Leonard Steven and Carrie Bell Ward Dement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Hackworth; two daughters; one grandson; three sisters; and two brothers. Patricia is survived by five sons, Steve Walters of Chesapeake, Ohio, Eddie, Roger, Warren, and Chris Hackworth all of Huntington, WV; four daughters, Judy Holley Walters of Huntington, Frances Berry of Proctorville, Donna Hackworth of South Point, and Ann Brumfield of Proctorville; two sisters, Catherine Thacker of Scottown, and Debra Rose Nunley of South Webster, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 31, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor David Lemming and Pastor Leo Edwards. Burial will follow in McCormick Cemetery Proctorville. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday May 30, 2009 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
