1932 - 2024
 Elsie McCallister Bostic, 92, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2024. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great-Great- Grandmother. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Rev. Preston Milan officiating. Rick Nida will be singing and accompanied by Connie Forth. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. She is preceded in death by her husband, Merle Bostic; mother and father, Cledith “Brady” and Addie Wetherholt McCallister; a brother, Hubert and Thelma McCallister. She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Nikki and Norman Anderson of IN, Nancy and Gary Conn of KY, Connie and Roy “Buck” Foster of Culloden, and Sandi and Bruce Adkins of Huntington; grandchildren, Shannon and Vince Scheetz, Chip and Crissy Chapman, Jamie LeGrand Bowling, Kim Holland and Mike Biddle, Jack and Casey Sadler, Merle and Erika Wooten, Keri LeGrand, and Chris Lowe, Leigh (Wooten) Dalton and Scott Thompson; great-grandchildren, Corey Scheetz and Melissa Walker and Jesse Derringer, Taylor and Sydney Holland, Skyler LeGrand, Jacob and Ryan Bowling, Kyle, Coby, Cortney Chapman and Brianna Chapman Jefferson and Nathan, Amber, Katie, and Austin Wooten, Wesley, Bella, Ethan, Olivia Dalton, and Casen Thompson; two great-great-grandchildren, Emmett Jefferson, and Luka Crowder; and one very special friend (sister), Evelyn Frazier. Our Mother was a Sunday School Teacher, and Church Treasurer for the Valley of Decision Church in Salt Rock for many years. She used her beautiful singing voice to praise God with the Valley Gospelaires in Churches all over the Tri-State Area. We must make an honorable mention of her cat, Punkin. She was given him the day before our dad passed away and he was her loving companion for 13 years. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. My aunt Elsie was one of the nicest and toughest ladies that I have ever known. I have so many special memories. Praying for this extended family to find solace.
