1947 - 2024
 GERALD WESLEY LINVILLE, 77, of ONA, WV, passed away March 12, 2024. He was born March 1, 1947, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late George and Elsie Nelson Linville.
He was preceded in death by his adored wife, Ada “Jeannie” Skaggs Linville and brother Ray Linville. He is survived by his son, Gene “Wesley” Linville (Michelle), daughters, Shawna Kim (Michael) and Nicole Thomas-Broughton (David); grandchildren, Tabitha Linville (Justin Conner), Andrew Linville (Tiana), Joshua Chapman, Kekoa Kim, Chance Thomas, Alex Thomas and EJ Broughton; and great-grandchildren, Paisley Counts, Grayson and Stetson Linville. Also surviving, Betty Caskey, and Linda Linville and a multitude of special cousins and friends.
Gerald proudly served the Marine Corp and retired from Columbia Gas. He was an avid beekeeper and gardener who enjoyed sharing his surplus and knowledge with family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Pastor Greg Wagoner officiating. The burial will be in the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Gerry was always willing to help anyone at any time. He lived for his family. At columbia he was know as being "one of the good guys"
