1974 - 2024
Rachel Kristen Frye Stone, May 31, 1974-April 1, 2024. Words canโt describe the pain of a heart that is broken. A painful scar will remain until we see her in paradise. Rachel was a dedicated registered nurse who comforted many patients, family members, and friends during her career. She leaves behind a daughter, Hannah Kate Stone, the joy of her life; mother and father, Debby and Steve Frye; sister, Sarah Frye and her daughter, Molly Frye; aunt and uncle, Paula and Mark Sturgeon and their daughter Emily Kuhn; aunt, Susie Fry and daughters, Tonya (Brian) and son Bryce (Sexton), Tina (Billy) and daughter Sophie (Wade). Preceding her in death was Larry Fry (uncle), beloved cousin, Kristen Kuhn, maternal grandparents, Rita and Jesse Davis; and paternal grandparents Winnie and Sherman Fry. The love and prayers of cousins Shawna and Scott Wallace have supported us beyond measure. A very special childhood friend, Kathy Smith, and special friend Nicki Thompson prayed and supported us through the days of watching Rachel succumb to a long and painful chronic illness. I cannot praise the Southern Ohio Medical Center for the most compassionate care I have ever witnessed! ICU physician Ehizode Uderbulu, palliative care NP April Green, were always available. The nurses, techs, ward secretaries, housekeeping, and many others I have not listed always came in to her room to offer comfort, and anything we needed. God has many angels on earth! A private interment will be in the Fry Cemetery. Please pray for us in our days of sorrow and grief. "Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Lord God of truth." Psalms 31:5. Rachel was an amazing woman, and we have been friends ever since our days at MMBH together. I always knew I could reach out to her and she the same. Hers was honestly a light that I will carry with me forever. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray so hard for some sort of peace in your heart.

Oh Rachel! I'm so very sorry for your loss! I was shocked to read this? If I'd known, I would have been there to say my goodbyes. You have always been such a special girl and so nice and sweet to everyone you encountered. Always. RIP now, no more pain and open your arms in HEAVEN as you greet each and every person above. I'm so sorry for your entire family. I know what a loss this is for them. You're beautiful forever Rachel! Until we meet again. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
