 Julia Anne Dickens, 76, of Huntington, WV, passed away May 17, 2024. She was born May 20, 1947, in Jackson, OH, daughter of the late Kenneth Ross and Olive Meyers Ross. She is survived by her husband Larry Dickens; two children Amy Lawson (Adam), and Ryan Coburn; three stepchildren Kelly McGuffin, Tony Dickens (Melissa), and Derick Dickens; grandchildren Sydney Adkins (Sam), Sawyer Adkins, Kayla Holtzapfel (Drew), Acacia Fassero (Dietrich), Anthony Dickens, Aaron Dickens, Elianna Dickens, and Liberty Dickens; five great grandchildren, Levi, Ryker, Gatlin, and Mila Holtzapfel and Eliora Fassero; siblings Corinne Barnhart (Jack), E. Jean Townsend, Marvin Ross (Violeta), and Barbara Board (Harlan) and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of Steele Memorial Methodist Church and was a retired Executive secretary at Marshall University. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and will be missed by all. Memorial service will be conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Greg Markins. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

So very sorry to hear of Julia's passing. She was an indispensable colleague in the Research Corp.at Marshall ...very capable and cordial. Prayers and best wishes to the family from my wife Mona and myself.
