Surrounded by family, Kathryn Nell Hensley, 67, of Barboursville, went to be with the Lord on May 27, 2024 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Kathryn was born July 23, 1956 in Tecumseh, Michigan, to the late Reverend Milton (Donna) Bartram, but spent her adult life in West Virginia. Kathryn loved hosting holiday gatherings for her large, loud, and loving family. Kathryn was preceded in death by her loving husband David Lester Hensley, brother Norman (Jan) Bartram, and her step-daughter Geneva Hensley. Kathryn is survived by her four daughters, Kristy (Joe) Saunders, Amy (George) Reitmire, Tara (Michael) Ferrell, Billie (Jason) Stevens; six grandchildren, Britney (Federico) Lagos, Kolten (Marina) Saunders, Bethany (Clay) VanMeter, Michael S. Ferrell, Mickenzie Ferrell, Bradley Reitmire; seven great-grandchildren, Raelynn, Taesen, and Waylon VanMeter; Krew and Lily Saunders; Zion and Maverick Lagos; brothers Doug (Cheryl) Bartram and Allan (Becki) Bartram. There will be no funeral services as Kathryn chose a family graveside service. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
