1946 - 2024
 Clarence O. "Bub" Lykins, 78 of Ona, WV received his healing and went home to meet his Lord and Savior on June 16, 2024. The son of the late Othal and Myrtle Lykins, he is preceded in death by his brother Harold Lykins and his son Clarence O. Lykins II. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Brenda "Midge" Lykins, his daughter and her husband Angel and Tom Schneider, his grandchildren whom he loved to spoil Col Schneider and Maddie Schneider, his dear sister Opal Warf, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Bub was drafted into the Army in 1965. When returning home he went back to work at what is now Special Metals and retired in 1995. Bub loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed camping with family and friends, hooking into a large mouth bass, and telling stories to make everyone laugh. The family would like to thank Heartland of Hospice for taking such good care of Bub. Heartfelt appreciation goes out to their dearest friends, Terry and Deb Blake for their love, friendship and always being there for the family. Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville, WV conducted by Reverend Dave Dillon. Visitation will be before the service from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens with military honors. We will nevwe forget the camping trips, trout derby,ice cream making,golfing, card games, catch pharase. And all the funny stories that Bub and Midge would tell us. Praying for the family. Love you always.

My heart is broken. We have so many memories, fun, laughter, trips, card games and lots of fire pies. One of the best was cutting the roof of my camper to put in an air conditioner…. Boy were we all nervous. Not saying goodbye just til we meet again . Love you always
