Dorothea Helene Drown, 95, of Milton, WV, passed away October 18, 2024. She was born December 9, 1928, in Neusalz, Germany; daughter of the late Simon Taduschaswili and Martha Fiedler Taduschaswili. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ceron "Dan" Drown. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Georg, Elisabeth, Ursula, Maria, Ruth and Kurt. She was also preceded in death by a very special niece, Christina. She is survived by her son David Drown (Michelle); two grandchildren Tyler Drown and Kristen Cardwell (Matt); and one great grandson Luka Cardwell. She proudly become an American citizen in 1960 and worked for 15 years as a nurse’s aid at Morris Memorial Nursing Home. She was beloved by the staff who cared for her at The Village at Riverview where she lived the last years of her blessed life. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by family friend, Keith Andrews. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
