Marlene Stewart, 90, of Barboursville, WV, passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2024. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2024 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Carol Lowe. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born September 25, 1934 in Logan, a daughter of the late Grover Saunders and Leva Brunty Varney and Mose Varney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton Stewart Jr. and sons, Jackie Dale Stewart and Larry Joe Stewart. She is survived by two sons, Clinton Ray Stewart of Huntington and Ron and Teresa Stewart of Barboursville; two sisters, Sharon Hurley and Barbara Torres, both of Huntington; one brother, Larry Varney of Huntington; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
