Naomi Ruth Dailey Click for Condolences      Printable Version
1940 - 2025

Naomi Ruth DaileyNaomi Ruth Dailey, 84 of Ona, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2025. She is the daughter of the late Irvin and Georgia Ruth Johnson, born March 25, 1940. Naomi was a member of Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church, where she was the decorations committee chair. She enjoyed creating floral arrangements and decorating the church for the seasons and special occasions. She also loved to sing in the choir and played the piano at home. Naomi was a talented cross-stitcher, avid landscaper, and a true outdoors person. One could often see her outside trimming her flowers, shrubs, and her favorite thing, mowing her lawn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalvin R. Dailey, son, William (Bill) Dailey, six siblings, Earl, Lee, and Wayne Johnson, Jean Robertson, Irene Stoneburner, and Joyce Caldwell. Left to miss her are her son, Jack Dailey; daughter, Robin (Scott) Edmunds; grandchildren Brittney (Alex) Smith, Corey (Shea) Dailey, Zachary (Josh) Stoll, Grace, and Noel Edmunds; her precious great-grandchildren Ellie, Matthew, and Emma Smith and Harper Bartram; sisters-in-law Beverly Copley and Charlotte Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A special thank you to Cabell Healthcares “Whistle”, the Hospice House of Huntington, where she gained so much peace and left for her journey to be with her Lord. Those of you who took time to reach out to her, with cards, a phone call, or just a short visit to brighten her day, and a very special thank you to Linda Hayes, her niece, and taxi service! And lastly, all of her neighbors past and present on Sunny Drive, you were all so kind to her over the years. Funeral arrangements as follows: Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home in Milton, WV. Visitation at 12 followed by service at 1 p.m, by Pastor Greg Lunsford. Burial following at Forest Memorial Park, Milton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beulah Ann Missionary Baptist Church, Decorations Fund. Wallace Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.
