1955 - 2025
 Marquita Elise "Marki" Mallory, 70, of Huntington, WV, went to sleep peacefully in the arms of the Lord, Wednesday night with her family by her side. She was born March 16, 1955 to the late Hubert and Goldie (Gibson) Childers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Dwight Childers; niece, Kathy Ross; and nephew, Clayton Bates. She is survived by her sisters, Sharon (David) Ross, Shelia Allen and Betty (Darrell) Bates; nieces, Karen Miller and Shannon Johnson; nephew, Jason (Melanie) Allen; great nephews, Thomas Miller, Wyatt and Andrew Johnson; great nieces, Kandi Miller and Madison Allen; very special friends Brenda and Loren Michels. Markie retired as a beautician and owner of Saviorfaire and Sheer Madness Beauty Salons. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Jackie Walker. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
