Arthur Edward Porter, 82, of Salt Rock, passed away May 1, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jason Salmons. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born June 7, 1942 in Hamlin, a son of the late Jaruel Edward Porter and Velma Ashworth Porter. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves, and a retired employee of INCO Alloys. He was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Harshbarger. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Linda Midkiff Porter; one daughter, Pamela Dyer (George) of Lone Tree, CO; one son, Jeffery Edward Porter of Salt Rock; two sisters, Sharon White of Hamlin and Nancy Adkins of Milton; and three grandchildren, Willem Edward Porter, Collier Bryce Dyer and Kira Beth Dyer.
