Edna Ruth Mount, 89 of Huntington, passed away Friday, June 27, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Waldo Booth. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park. She was born March 27, 1936 in Lundale, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph Henry and Ella Mae Bailey. She was a member of Milton Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Franklin Mount; siblings, Shelly, Bethel, Leathe, Ray, Eugene, Nadine, Buddy and Roger. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Mount of Pittsburgh, PA and Tim Mount (Terri) of Huntington, WV; two grandchildren, Crystal Battaglia (Jason) and Ashley Cummings (Eric); great-grandchildren, Shayna, Jesse, and Lexi, Jerrika, Jake and Leah; great-great-grandchildren, Damien, Roman, Krenshaw; and 42 nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank staff of Paramount Senior Living for their care and kindness. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709. Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral services at Wallace Funeral Home.
