Anna Louise Chapman, 93, of Milton, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1932 in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Thomas Moses Quentrill and Martha Elizabeth Wade Quentrill. She is also preceded in death by her husband, William Chapman, Sr.; three brothers, Cleston, Melvin and Bernard Quentrill; two sisters, Christine Woodyard and Pauline Bays; and one daughter-in-law, Connie Chapman. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church for over 50 years. She is survived by her son, William “Bill Chapman Jr.; her daughter, Beverly Chapman; and by two grandchildren, Beth Black (Randy) and Joshua Chapman (Missy). Friends may visit from Noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Bill Spears officiating.
