David Clinton Chapman Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1949 - 2025 David Clinton Chapman, 76, of Milton, WV, passed away August 18, 2025. He was born June 21, 1949, in Huntington, WV, son of the late William "Bill" Albert Chapman and Inez Meadows Chapman. He was also preceded in death by his sister Reba Wyant. He is survived by one son Bryan Chapman (Mandy) of Milton; one daughter Wendy Tomblin (Greg) of Applegrove, WV; six grandchildren Kyndall Bartholomew (Jacob), Madyson Messinger (Jarred), Carsyn Chapman, Michaela Ramsey, Mackenzie Ramsey, and Philip Fugett; and special brother-in-law Larry Wyant; niece Denise Salmons and a host of friends and family. A Celebration of Life will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Don Reynolds. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

I’m so sorry about your dad. When I saw his picture it immediately struck a cord with me. He looks like he could belong to my family. Hello Bryan, my name is Ann Newberry. I’ve lived in Barboursville most of my life but now live in Florida. I saw your father’s obituary. I’m so sorry for your loss. I think we might be related going by the names listed in the paper. Is there any chance your grandpa had a twin brother? My great grandfather was Clifton Chapman from Barboursville, Milton, and maybe somewhere near Getaway Ohio( I think)
