Carole Sue Sawyers, 78, of Huntington, passed away October 14, 2025. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Baylous Cemetery, Salt Rock. She was born April 22, 1947, in Sweetwater, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Lionel and Eller Roberts Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven Sawyers. She is survived by one daughter, Debra Stacy and Daniel of Huntington; one son, Jeffrey Scot Ransbottom and Valerie of Blacksburg, VA; four grandchildren, Caleb Shawn Adkins, Tasha Adkins, Brittany Ransbottom and David Ransbottom; and four great-grandchildren, Jhace Adkins, Lateasa Allen, Annelise Ransbottom and Jacob Ransbottom.
