Edgar Elkins Adkins, 86, of Ona, W.Va, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born March 9, 1939 in Salt Rock, W.Va., a son of the late, William and Ruth Adkins. He is also preceded in death by one brother, Harry Adkins and by one sister, Charlotte Dailey. He was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary Adkins; three sons, Michael Adkins (Della), David Adkins (Kim) and Josh Adkins (Kaytlin); one sister, Elizabeth Chapman (Roger); three brothers, Larry Adkins, Bobby Adkins (Brenda) and Jim Adkins (Cheryl); five grandchildren, Taylor Hall (Ryan), Faith Adkins, Megan Adkins, Trace Adkins and Carson Adkins and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
