Denise Ann Maynard, 53, of Salt Rock, went home to be with the Lord on October 21, 2025 after a long battle with health issues. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Jason Hogsett. Burial will be in Brinegar Cemetery, Branchland. She was born October 12, 1972, in West Hamlin, a daughter of Brenda Ann Vance Brinegar of Branchland, and the late Darrell Lee Brinegar. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, John Maynard; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Vance; aunts and uncles, Jewel and Randy Kilpatrick, Mittie Adams, and Alex Vance; and a host of cousins. She was loved by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
