Denzel Daymon Ward, 72, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2025. He was born March 24, 1953. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ima Ward; two brothers, Bud Ward and Johnny Ward; two sisters, Vivian Clark and Jane Anne Martin. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debra Ward of Milton, WV; two sons, Eric (Lori) Ward of Nitro, WV, and Jason (Monetta) Black of Milton, WV; three grandchildren, Daniel (Karly) Black of Bidwell, OH, McKenzie Black and Byron Black of Milton, WV, and Michael Ward of Nitro, WV; two great grandchildren, Wesley and Rylee Black; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, WV with Byron Black and Rev. Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Staten Chapel Cemetery, Milton, WV. Friends may visit from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home Milton, WV.
