
Freelin Glen Johnson, 84, of Ona, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord January 21, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather whose life was rooted in faith and family. Glen was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Albert and Cora; wife, Judy Johnson; one daughter-in-law, Beth Johnson; two sisters; and four brothers. He is survived by his son, Montie Johnson and his daughter, Joyce Nichols (Stacy). He leaves behind a legacy of love through his grandchildren: Will Dailey (Emily), Micha Johnson, Daniel Reidiger (Gabby), and Gracie Johnson. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Lea Dailey, Will Dailey, Gage Dailey, Cami Dailey, Atlas Reidiger, and Colton and Michael Massey who brought him endless joy. Glen was a man who loved the Lord with all of his heart. His faith guided his life, strengthened his family, and shaped the way he loved others. He was known for his warm heart, and unwavering devotion to those he cared for. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds peace in knowing he is now reunited with those who went before him and is resting in the presence of his Savior. His life was a blessing. His memory will be a treasure. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Rick Carey.
