Carolyn Ruth Lusher, 87, of Barboursville, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away on April 23, 2026 in Huntington, WV. She was born on October 21, 1938, in Huntington, WV, to Fred and Ruth Reeves. Carolyn is survived by her daughters, Renee (Brandon) Argyle-Hillegas and Cindy (Mike) Collins; her grandchildren, Jared (Melissa) Collins, Ashley (Sunney) Freeman, Jason (Marilyn) Lusher, Zane Argyle and Sierra (Ryan) Vlahos-Harris; and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Lusher and son, John W. Lusher Jr.
Carolyn was a member of Highlawn Full Gospel Assembly, a woman of faith, kindness and devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by her family, many friends, longtime friend, Patricia Edmonds and her cat, Princess.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Tony Mays. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
