William Erwin Turley, 86, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. He was born February 11, 1940, in Charleston, WV, a son of the late Harold and Elizabeth Richardson Turley. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War and he was also a Purple Heart recipient. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Barbara Turley, Sue Meadows, Becky Racer and Butch Turley. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Sowards Turley; two sons, Damon Turley of Milton, WV and Kevin Turley (Tom Hart) of Princeton, WV; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Courtney and Noah Turley.
